PhotoMint (“we,” “our,” or “us”), operated by Imversion Technologies, values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our AI Photo Editor mobile application (the “App”) on iOS and Android.

1) Information We Collect

A) Information You Provide

• Photos & Media: When you upload or capture a photo for editing, it may be securely uploaded to our servers to provide editing features, such as before/after comparison and saved edits. Photos are encrypted in transit and stored securely at rest. They remain stored on our servers as part of your account and app functionality until you delete them.

• Face Data: While processing photos, our AI models may detect the presence of a face in order to apply filters, retouching, background effects, or before/after alignment. This detection is used only to deliver the editing feature and is immediately discarded once processing is complete. We do not collect, store, or share biometric identifiers or facial recognition templates.

• Account Information (Optional): If you create an account, we may collect your name, email address, and profile details.

B) Automatically Collected Information

• Device Information: Device model, operating system, unique device identifiers, and app version.

• Usage Data: Interactions with the app (features used, session events) and crash logs to improve performance.

• Analytics: Aggregated app performance and usage metrics via third-party analytics (e.g., Firebase, App Store/Play Console analytics).

2) How We Use Your Information

• Provide photo editing and AI-powered features.

• Maintain and improve performance, stability, and user experience.

• Communicate updates, new features, and customer support.

• Comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

Face Data Usage:
Face data is used only to enable selected editing features. It is immediately discarded after processing. We do not build biometric profiles, and we do not sell or share face data.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

2A) AI & LLM Processing

Certain editing features in PhotoMint use artificial intelligence models, including large language models (LLMs) and other machine learning algorithms, to apply transformations, generate enhancements, or improve photo quality.

• On-Device vs Cloud Processing: Some features run entirely on your device. Others require secure cloud-based AI processing, in which case your photos and/or editing instructions may be uploaded to our servers.

• Encryption: All uploads are encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and stored securely at rest.

• Retention: Photos uploaded for cloud-based AI processing remain stored on our servers to support app functionality (such as before/after comparisons and saved edits) until you delete them.

• No Model Training: We do not use your photos, face data, or text prompts to train AI or LLM models.

• Third-Party Services: If we use third-party AI providers to power specific editing features, these providers process your content only for the requested function under their own privacy terms. No biometric identifiers are shared.

3) Data Processing, Storage & Security

• Photos stored on our servers are encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. They are retained as part of your account until you delete them. These photos are used solely to provide editing functionality such as before/after comparisons and saved edits.

• Temporary face detection data used during AI processing is not stored or retained after the editing task is completed.

• We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption, access controls, and regular security reviews.

4) Third-Party Services We Use

We may use trusted providers for:

• Analytics: Firebase/Google Analytics for Firebase.

• Crash Reporting: Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry.

• AI Processing (if applicable): Third-party APIs or LLM providers to power certain editing features.

These providers do not use your photos or face data for their own purposes.

5) Your Rights & Choices

• Access & Deletion: You can request access to or deletion of your account data and photos stored on our servers.

• Permissions: Manage camera, photos, storage, and other permissions in your device settings.

• Analytics Controls: You may limit certain tracking via device settings (e.g., “Limit Ad Tracking” / “Ads Personalization”).

6) Children’s Privacy

PhotoMint is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required by law in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7) International Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries outside your own, which may have different data protection laws. We take steps to ensure appropriate protections for such transfers.

8) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the App or by email.
